Asia Cup schedule for the 2023 edition has been announced by the Asian Cricket Council and Pakistan Cricket Board. The event will be held from 30 August to 17 September 2023 where 6 teams will participate for the trophy. 50-Over tournament will be played in two countries i-e Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will host 4 matches whereas Sri Lanka will host 9 matches. Final of the Asia Cup will be played at SSC Colombo.
Pakistan will be hosting Asia Cup after 15 long years. Last Asia Cup played in Pakistan was in 2008 where Sri Lanka won the title by defeating India. As per Asia Cup Schedule, Pakistan will host 4 matches of this event. Multan will host the opening match of Asia Cup whereas the rest of the matches will be played in Lahore.
Sri Lanka will also host matches of Asia Cup after 13 years as per Asia Cup Schedule. Last event played in Sri Lanka was back in 2010 where India won the trophy y defeating Sri Lanka in the final. Sri Lanka will host 9 matches out of 13 matches being played in the tournament as per Asia Cup Schedule. Sri Lanka will host 3 round matches at Kandy and remaining matches at Colombo which includes Super 4 stage matches and the Final.

As per Asia cup schedule, teams are divided into two groups of 3 teams each. Each team will play 2 matches in group stage where top 2 of each group will qualify for the next stage which is the super 4 stage. In Super 4 stage, each team will play 3 matches and top 2 teams of Super 4 will qualify for the Final.
Final will be played in Colombo on 17th September 2023 whereas a reserve day is also kept in case of rain.

- Irrespective of their position after first round, Pakistan will remain as A1 whereas India will remain as A2. If Nepal qualifies, they will take position of the one which don’t qualify for Super 4s.
- Irrespective of their position after first round, Sri Lanka will remain as B1 whereas Bangladesh will remain as B2. If Afghanistan qualifies, they will take position of the one which don’t qualify for Super 4s.
